Guernsey Harbours is responsible for a wide range of maritime operations. From commercial berths and ramps to marinas and moorings at St Peter Port and St Sampson harbours.
The Registry of British Ships for the port of Guernsey provides registration for vessels up to 150 GT under Part I of the British Register (full title registration), commercial fishing vessels based in the Bailiwick of Guernsey and simple registration under the Small Ship Register (SSR) for other Bailiwick owned vessels.
The Registry is a member of the Red Ensign Group of British ship registers.
Guernsey Coastguard is the Search and Rescue arm of the States of Guernsey and staff from Guernsey Ports provide Search and Rescue Coordination. Guernsey Coastguard alongside Alderney Coastguard cover the Bailiwick’s territorial seas and coastal areas.
