Ground Security Officers
Are you a people person and a good communicator? This could be the perfect opportunity for you.
We’re building a new team of security officers to ensure every traveller passing through our airport terminal enjoys a seamless and positive experience. No prior security experience is needed - we will provide comprehensive training, but you will need excellent customer service skills and be able to engage with people confidently and courteously with the ability to stay calm and focused under pressure.
As a vital member of our team, you’ll enjoy a busy and diverse role. From patrolling the terminal to assisting passengers through security, handling customer enquiries, responding to security incidents, every day brings new challenges and opportunities for growth.
This full-time position operates on a shift pattern spanning four days, with hours ranging between 05:15 and 21:30.

Terminal Duty Officer
Guernsey Ports is looking for a Terminal Duty Officer oversee the smooth operation of our Airport Terminal building.
The Terminal Duty Officer (TDO) is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Airport Terminal and ensuring airport users are kept safe and secure.
As a crucial part of our Passenger Operations Team, the job involves working eight-hour shifts, covering all operational hours of the airport which is rewarded by a competitive wage (including shift allowance).
Your responsibilities will include supervising airport attendants, monitoring security patrols, and ensuring the safety of our passengers and staff.
The role is one that continually changes and requires a flexible approach and the ability to change and adapt to new circumstances.

Head of Safety & Compliance
We are looking for a Head of Safety & Compliance to join the Ports Senior Leadership team.
The post holder will be responsible for ensuring compliance with aviation and maritime safety, legislation and best industry practices.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record including broad operational knowledge and experience in the aviation and maritime sectors.
The post holder is also responsible for the overall development, delivery and maintenance of a Safety and Security Management System (SSeMS) and Marine Safety Management System (MSMS).
You will be a qualified investigator addressing safety and security occurrences across Guernsey and Alderney Airports and Guernsey Harbours, documenting recommendations and issuing corrective action points.

Airport Air Traffic Engineer
We are looking for an Airport Air Traffic Engineer to join the team at Guernsey Ports.
The successful candidate will be expected to provide ground-based support services to the Air Navigation Services Provider at both Guernsey and Alderney Airports.
We are looking for trained and competent Air Traffic Safety Electronics Personnel to provide support and ensure the integrity of those electronic and computer-based systems.
